What I like studying in science was about plate tectonics. I like it because I always wanted to learn about earth and figure out everything about the continents and everything else. Also I like it because the continents are very interesting and we learned a lot about them.
We learned a bunch of things in class. We learned that at one point in time the earth’s continents were in one big continent called Pangaea. Then after a while the continents drifted away from each other and that is called continental drift. Then after along time they were in there current position they are today. Also another one thing that we learned was that the earth was made up of layers. There is the inner core, outer core, mantel, and the surface. They are all different sizes. Also we learned that the deeper in the earth the hotter it gets. Like the core is the hottest, then the inner core is the next, then there us the mantle, then finally there is the surface which is the least hot. Plus we learned about earth quakes and volcanoes.
You need to know about volcanoes if you are geologists. Also you need to know about cells if you are a doctor. Also another thing is that you need to know about plants if you are a landscaper and a last one if you need to know about the air if you do things with the air and the earth’s atmosphere.
My work sample I chose to use is my Solar Energy brochure. I think this is one of my best projects.
